The King and Queen start to play the game. If they are out of the game, the Knight and the player with the highest card count start play. At the end of each round, all players reveal their hands in a clockwise fashion. They record the results of their play, and then keep their hands hidden again.
The game starts with no cards in the playing area. Then, players draw hands of cards from their decks. These cards must be dealt into four piles, which the King and Queen place face down. They keep their hands hidden and are not allowed to look at the cards.
The Queen always has an advantage over the King. Other players must work to prevent the King from being revealed. It is usually bad for a player to reveal their own hand, since it is a secret. But if this does not prevent the King from being revealed, this player is eliminated.
